Are You Living On Purpose (Issue 10)
ARE YOU LIVING ON PURPOSE (ISSUE 10)
Once you know what your purpose is and you know
why you’re living on purpose and you’ve removed
all of the beliefs, blocks, barriers and fears
that are in your way, the only thing left to do
is take action toward your purpose.
Unfortunately, this is where many people get hung
up. They stop short of making their dreams a reality
because they don’t take action.
Has that happened to you? Is it happening now?
Would you like to get rid of it once and for all?
Well, you can and you will… if you decide to.
But what stops people from taking action? Often times
they think it will be too painful, too difficult, too
scary, too overwhelming, too stressful, too whatever.
But it doesn’t have to be that way. In fact, it can be
just the opposite. Taking action can be fun, exciting,
exhilarating, joyful and easy. Why? Because as you think,
so shall you be. Your thoughts create your reality. What
you think about, you bring about. So, if you think that
it’s going to be painful to take action, it will be…
and vice versa.
And here’s a way to make taking action, really easy.
When you see all that’s in front of you to do, it
might look overwhelming. When overwhelm hits, action
usually stops. So, make the project as manageable as
possible by breaking it down into simple, quick and
easy to do steps.
Just like raking leaves. You don’t put them all into one
giant pile. You put them into many small piles that are
easy to handle. It is the same with any task.
So, just make a list of what you have to do to start
living your purpose and begin to break each section
down into its smallest component, and do that.
So, say you’ve been wanting to write a book, but have
been overwhelmed by the immenseness of the project.
Break the book down into chapters and then break each
chapter down into sections and then break those sections
down further with the two or three ideas that will go into
those sections. In effect, you write a book, one idea at a
time.
That’s how you really do anything. You do it one step at
a time. Anyone can do one step. Anyone can do something
everyday toward his/her purpose…no matter how small the
task is.
The hardest part for some people is to begin. Begin
anyway. Don’t convince yourself that it’s too much
or that doing a little at a time won’t make a difference.
It will. Since the journey of 1000 miles begins with a
single step, you must begin now. Each of those steps
will add up quicker than you might expect.
Like a snowball rolling down a hill, it’s small at
first and then becomes bigger and bigger and rolls
faster and faster as it gains momentum.
You will start slow and then you will get stronger
and stronger. As you gain confidence, you’ll pick
up speed and start having a lot more fun. When that
happens, you’re home free.
I look forward to hearing about your progress. Send
me an email and let me know how you’re doing.
Well, we’ve come to the end of another series. This
is the 10th and final issue in the series on Living
On Purpose. I hope that it has been beneficial to
you and that it has made a difference for you and
that it has blessed you in ways unimaginable.
So, that’s it for this issue my friend. May you be
blessed beyond belief and may all of your dreams
and your success come true. And may everything you
wish for be the least that you get.
