Manifesting Your Heart’s Desires Issue 9

Manifesting Your Heart’s Desires (Issue 9)

This issue is about the power of gratitude. In

that vein, I’d like to take a moment to say to

you, “Thanks for being subscribers. Thanks for

being a part of my life. Thanks for deciding

to improve your life and for using me as a

resource to help you to do that.”

Each issue I write, I put myself in your place

and imagine the questions you would ask and I

do my best to answer them line by line when they

come up. I hope that I have done my job and I

hope that I can continue to serve you and your

loved ones for a long time.

So here we go.

When you focus on what you’re grateful for,

you tend to create more of that and more of

the things that you want because you’re not

focused on the things you don’t want.

I’ll illustrate.

A friend of mine named Bob Samara was a Viet Nam

Point man and he has a wonderful saying based on

his experiences in Viet Nam. He says,

“Always remember, in the jungle you will either

think about the bullets being fired at you, or

where you are aiming, but not both. I always

choose to think about where I am aiming and

where I am going.”

He goes on to say that:

“The deep training of your mind to do this

instinctively is the single most valuable

thing you can have on this earth.”

So, what are you grateful for? Don’t just

let that be a passing question. Really take

a few minutes to think about it and then

do something about it. Thank someone. Write

a letter to someone. Make a phone call.

The more time you spend being grateful, the

more great things will come to you. To help

you to put into perspective all the things

you can be grateful for, read the following.

“If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes

on your back, a roof overhead and a place to

sleep, you are richer than 75% of this world.

“If you have money in the bank,in your wallet,

and spare change in a dish, you are among

the top 8% of the world’s wealthy.”

“If you get this on your own computer, you

are part of the 1% in the world who has

that opportunity.”

“If you woke up this morning with more health

than illness … you are more blessed than

the many who will not even survive this day.”

“If you have never experienced the fear in

battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the

agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation

… you are ahead of 700 million people in

the world.”

“If you can attend religious services without

the fear of harassment, arrest, torture or

death, you are envied by, and more blessed than,

three billion people in the world.”

“If your parents are still alive and still

married …you are very rare.”

“If you can hold your head up and smile, you

are not the norm; you’re unique to all those

in doubt and despair.”

The truth is, that’s just the beginning.

How about the clean water you have to drink?

How about indoor plumbing? How about toilet

paper for that matter? How about a shower

whenever you want it? How about an abundance

of food? How about your car, your house,

your pets? How about painkilling drugs,

antibiotics, life-saving new medical procedures?

Be grateful for all that you have and all that

you are and be grateful for each and every moment.

So, that’s it for this issue my friend. May

you be blessed beyond belief this week and

may all of your dreams and your success

come true. And may everything you wish for

be the least that you get.

Until next issue…

To your success,

Darshan G. Shanti – The 24 Hour Champion
